Nexomic and Alpha Clinical Partner to De-Risk Oncology Drug Development
Collaboration will bring DECODE’s AI-powered multi-omic intelligence into oncology clinical development programmes to inform trial design, biomarker strategy, patient stratification and Go/No-Go decisions.
LONDON, July 17, 2026 – Nexomic today announced a partnership with Alpha Clinical Developments, a global full-service clinical research organisation, to integrate DECODE’s AI-powered multi-omic intelligence into oncology clinical development programmes.
The partnership combines Alpha Clinical Developments’ oncology clinical development and trial strategy expertise with Nexomic’s ability to decode the biology of treatment response and resistance.
A major challenge in oncology development is that patients with the same diagnosis can have fundamentally different tumor biology and treatment outcomes. These biological differences can obscure meaningful treatment effects and make it difficult to identify which patients are most likely to benefit.
Built on DeepOmic, Nexomic’s tumor-agnostic multi-omic AI foundation model, DECODE analyses clinical, real-world and multi-omic patient data to identify the biological drivers of response and resistance and define biologically relevant patient populations.
The resulting intelligence can inform trial design, biomarker strategy, patient stratification and enrichment, cohort definition and Go/No-Go decisions—helping sponsors make better development decisions earlier.
Alpha Clinical Developments supports sponsors across the oncology development lifecycle, combining clinical development strategy with protocol design, study delivery and regulatory planning. Integrating DECODE into these programs will enable development strategies to be informed not only by diagnosis and clinical characteristics, but also by the underlying biology that determines treatment response.
